Meet the Team
Senior Pastor, Rev. Tim Haynes
Pastor Tim Haynes was born March 5, 1954, in Keene, NH. He grew up in a small town environment in Surry, NH, where he attended Surry Elementary, then the Monadnock Regional School for Junior High and High School. His family were members of the Keene Assembly of God, where his parents were involved in many of the ministries and were faithful supporters, doing everything from teaching to cleaning the church.
After graduating from High School, Pastor Tim studied at Zion Bible Institute, graduating with the Class of 1974, the school’s 50th Anniversary. He served a short time as a Youth Pastor in Claremont, NH before returning to work in his home church under Pastor Roger Woodwell. Leading worship, teaching Sunday School, preaching occasionally, and other responsibilities helped prepare him to be a pastor.
During that time he also became the Youth Representative for the Southwest Section of the district, a position which he served for 15 years, organizing and conducting Youth Rallies for the churches in the section and helping with District Youth Retreats.
When a neighboring pastor invited him to speak while he was on vacation, Tim met Susan Ramsey, quickly fell in love with her, and after two years of courtship they were married on July 30, 1977. They now have 5 children (Samuel, Joel, Jonathan, Peter, Joanna) and 10 grandchildren. Pastor Tim and Sue began full-time ministry together a year later, at Calvary Assembly of God, in Jaffrey, NH from 1978 until 1991, when they moved to Madison, Maine.
Pastor Tim and Sue are strong advocates of Children’s Ministry and Missions. They have been fully involved in both throughout their ministry time, leading and working in different roles, and leading Missions Trips.
